TSOP Flashing an Xbox

TSOP = Tiny Small Operating Package - Chip

This is one of the cheapest methods of getting your xbox modded. Bridging 2 points on the motherboard to enable writing to the onboard TSOP Chip where the stock BIOS Resides. One you have bridged these points you can then erase the stock BIOS and flash it with a modded BIOS.It's one of the easiest steps even if you don't know how to solder. It works on xbox versions 1.0-1.5 to see if you can do the TSOP method on your xbox check out this site to find out the version of your xbox. (LINK HERE) If it's a 1.0-1.1 then you will have the option of making a switchable BIOS bank on the TSOP since these 1.0-1.1 boxs have a 1MB Bank for the BIOS on the TSOP, otherwise on the 1.2-1.5 you can't since there is only 256kb useable space on the TSOP Chip on these boxs. Be sure you know the version of your box before proceeding with this guide on preparing your TSOP to be flashed which is the next step after we bridge these points. 1.0-1.1 and 1.2-1.5 Boxs have diffrent steps of enabling the TSOP to be Writeable so be sure to pick the right guide. 1.0-1.1 have 2 points which is One on the top and another on the bottom, 1.2-1.5 has 2 points which are both on top which is pretty easy for us all if we're not wanting to take out the motherboard. If it's a 1.6 or newer then there is no TSOP method available for these newer boxs since they removed the TSOP or hid it somewhere where we can't flash it or hack it.
