Welcome to Wiki-Scene....

Wiki-Scene is a New project started with the intent of creating a dynamic database of all things modding. A "Scene" typically refers to the people involved with a particular console. For instance the "Xbox Scene" is those involved with Xbox modding and the "PSP Scene" is those involved with PSP modding.

Wiki-Scene is now the information and tutorial depository for Nintendo-Scene serving up numerous pages directed towards hacking the Wii, DS, GameCube, and even older Nintendo consoles.

In addion to Nintendo consoles we also cover Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation2, Dreamcast, and lots of classic consoles.

The Knowledgebase of most Scenes is unbelievably unorganized and those who spend time enough to have a good grasp on it rarely have time left to bestow that knowledge on others in an easy to use organized fashion. In the few cases where someone does take the time to write up an FAQ or a Tutorial the information within can very quickly and easily become obsolete.

Wiki-Scene hopes to not only eliminate these problems of hard to find information and obsolete information but also serve as a historical record of scene's past. If you think it's hard to find information on the current Scenes it's next to impossible to find information on scenes that are no longer popular.

If you've ever written a tutorial or FAQ, or have a firm grasp of any aspect of any scene I encourage you to post it here on Wiki-Scene. If you have no past experience using Wikis It's very easy to do. You can look at pages that have already been created for examples or read the MediaWiki User Guide.
